Structural Design Engineer (Precast Concrete)

About the role

Optimize Design is seeking a full‑time Structural Design Engineer to join its on‑site team in 6th of October City, Egypt. The role focuses on the analysis and design of precast concrete elements, ensuring that all solutions meet local and international codes while supporting seamless BIM coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of precast concrete components using ETABS and SAFE.
• Develop, review, and update structural drawings and 3D models.
• Coordinate with BIM specialists to guarantee clash‑free models and accurate LOD500 deliverables.
• Produce design documentation with CAD tools and support project managers, consultants, and contractors in resolving technical issues.
• Participate in design reviews, quality checks, and continuous improvement of internal design processes.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in structural design, preferably in precast concrete.
• Graduates of Cairo University or Ain Shams University are preferred.
• Willingness to work from 6th of October City or Sheikh Zayed City.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ETABS (required).
• Proficiency in SAFE (required).
• Experience with Revit (preferred).
• Good knowledge of structural analysis.
• Familiarity with ACI, ASCE and UAE codes.
• Experience in precast concrete design.
• Knowledge of Concise Software (a plus).
• Competence with CAD tools.
