Structural Engineer – Building Design & Analysis

About the role

As a Structural Engineer at AESG you will deliver comprehensive structural design packages for building projects, working increasingly independently across analysis, design development, and construction support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel, and composite elements.
• Prepare and review calculations, reports, specifications, and design sketches.
• Coordinate structural deliverables with architects, MEP engineers, and BIM technicians.
• Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements, international codes, and project quality standards.
• Support the production and review of drawings, schedules, and BIM‑based deliverables.
• Drive innovation through advanced analysis, BIM‑enabled workflows, and parametric/digital tools.
• Participate in project meetings and respond to technical queries.
• Review contractor submissions, RFIs, and construction‑stage design changes.
• Assist with site visits and inspections as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building structures.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and steel design.
• Working knowledge of structural analysis software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Robot, TEDDS or similar) and awareness of Revit coordination.
• Basic understanding of parametric design.
• Effective communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
