Structural Engineer

About the role

Azizi is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its Design 360 Studio in Dubai. Working from the Al Hudaiba Awards office, you will lead a team of engineers and draftsmen, ensuring structural designs meet the company’s high standards of safety, quality, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural design tasks, including stability analysis, foundation design, and reinforced concrete slab design in line with local and international codes.
• Develop structural models using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, PROKON, RAM Concept, ADAPT or similar tools, and conduct manual calculations for forces, stresses, and strains.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to produce safe, functional designs that align with architectural intent.
• Support QA/QC processes, review sub‑consultant work, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Provide technical assistance to construction teams, resolving structural issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Conduct design reviews and checks to maintain high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• 2–5 years of structural design experience, preferably on mid‑rise to high‑rise projects.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a design team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, PROKON, RAM Concept, ADAPT).
• Experience using BIM tools.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel).
