Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Immensa is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the onboarding and ongoing assessment of manufacturing partners worldwide. The role focuses on ensuring partners meet Immensa’s integrated management system requirements and maintain high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess new manufacturing partners’ capabilities, review quality systems and certifications, and approve them against ISO 9001, ISO 29001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Conduct remote desktop audits and, when necessary, on‑site audits; plan and execute regular partner audits following the annual audit programme.
• Manage partner non‑conformance reports (NCRs) from detection to closure, including containment, disposition and communication across regions.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using robust root‑cause analysis methods such as 8D and 5 Why, and verify that actions prevent recurrence.
• Maintain the Approved Partner List, risk ratings and performance scorecards covering quality, delivery, NCR rate and CAPA response time.
• Review partner documentation including material certificates (EN 10204 3.1), inspection reports and test records for compliance.
• Support the Supplier Quality Control team in strengthening partner control processes and incoming quality checks.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering and regional teams to resolve partner issues quickly and escalate critical failures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in quality roles within manufacturing, with at least 3 years in supplier quality.
• Proven experience managing international suppliers across multiple countries and conducting remote and on‑site audits.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills, cultural awareness and willingness to travel internationally up to 30–40%.
