Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer will act as the primary liaison between our suppliers and the corporate quality teams in Shanghai and the headquarters. You will ensure that suppliers maintain robust quality management systems and meet the stringent requirements of the medical‑device industry.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers, serving as the main point of contact for quality issues.
• Conduct vigilance audits focused on product and process control, monitoring QMS compliance.
• Guide suppliers in developing and executing master process validation plans.
• Coordinate non‑conformities, drive corrective actions (CAPA, SCAR) and track progress with stakeholders.
• Oversee supplier change requests, assess impact on product quality, and communicate status.
• Transition approved suppliers from development to mass production, including documentation hand‑over and training.
• Maintain supplier capacity data, volume purchases, and rating programs.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of supplier quality programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality management; experience in the medical‑device sector is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Strong communication, teamwork, integrity and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
