Supply Chain Logistics Referent

About the role

bioMérieux is seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Referent to manage inbound and outbound logistics operations in Egypt. The role ensures efficient inventory management, accurate data handling, and smooth coordination with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound activities, including order placement, shipment tracking, customs clearance, and discrepancy resolution.
• Maintain product master data and ensure data accuracy in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager.
• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile inventory reports, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
• Manage inbound reverse logistics such as returns, repairs, credits, and complaints.
• Oversee outbound order processing, delivery scheduling, and on‑time performance.
• Validate logistics invoices for cost accuracy and contract compliance.
• Act as primary contact for logistics issue resolution and monitor CO₂ emissions related to logistics activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, and customs procedures.
• Analytical mindset with solid reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
