Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end supply chain process at the operating company level. This senior position coordinates logistics, acquisition, warehousing, material management and distribution to meet business requirements while aligning with Nutreco’s integrated business planning standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the supply chain planning and forecasting process, ensuring alignment of all plans and improving forecast accuracy, OTIF and stock levels.
• Oversee purchasing, logistics, warehousing and transportation activities to guarantee uninterrupted supply at optimal cost.
• Lead long‑term capacity planning for raw material supply in close collaboration with commercial, purchasing and operations teams.
• Supervise and develop the Supply Planner, Demand Planner and Production Planner/Scheduler, fostering a culture of coaching and accountability.
• Identify, benchmark and implement best‑practice improvements, drive root‑cause analysis and manage improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain planning, S&OP and integrated business planning (IBP) environments.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross‑functional teams and driving continuous improvement.

Required skills

• SOE/IBP experience.
• Supply chain planning and forecasting expertise.
