Supply Chain Planning & Customer Service Specialist

About the role

A limited, one-year full-time position in Cairo within the supply chain function, covering order planning, customer service, distribution and inventory management. The role works with sales, marketing and warehouse branches, and collaborates with the Dubai customer service and planning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ordering, customer service and distribution planning: create purchase orders, inbound delivery documents and replenishment orders through the ERP (SAP)
• Keep product stock in warehouse branches optimal for all distribution channels and monitor finished goods against branch forecasts
• Work with sales, marketing, warehouse branches and the Dubai 3PM, central hubs and customer service to plan inbound shipments and optimise service levels
• Handle invoicing for top customers and manage service levels, stock availability and allocation
• Manage inventory at the distributor, control ordering by Gold, Silver and Bronze SKU classification, and plan depletion of excess, blocked and short-shelf-life stock
• Create master data in the distributor and SAP systems, process purchase orders and confirmations, and liaise with the MU Supply Chain team on new products
• Provide monthly reports on service level, direct cost of sales, inventory and forecast accuracy, waste risks and depletion actions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain
• 3-5 years of experience in demand/supply planning or customer service in an FMCG company
• Excellent verbal and written Arabic and English
• Attention to detail, accuracy, teamwork and ability to work autonomously

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
