Supply Chain Senior Specialist – Surgery (RoMea)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson's Surgery franchise is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist in New Cairo to manage end-to-end supply chain activities. The role covers demand planning, inventory health, new product introduction and collaboration with commercial, marketing, regulatory and regional planning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Demand planning and IBP: maintain sales data at brand, sub-brand, SKU, size and channel levels, build unconstrained base demand plans with statistical modelling, validate activity calendars and events, measure forecast accuracy and manage supply criticalities beyond the frozen horizon
• Risk management: work with the Medical and Regulatory Affairs teams to minimise supply and regulatory transition risks, and coordinate stock builds during blackout periods
• New products: own the NPI project from a supply chain perspective, manage phase-in and phase-out changes at SKU level and ensure product codes are created in the system on time
• Collaborate with the commercial and supply chain team, UEA and Egypt planning team, marketing, regional planning, regulatory, finance and distribution and transportation teams

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Business Management or similar
• More than 5 years of supply chain experience, with hands-on experience in demand planning, supply planning and IBP
• Prior ERP experience; IBP experience or qualification highly preferred
• Ability to create reports and clearly communicate the business situation

Required skills

• Expert in Excel; skilled in Word and PowerPoint
• Preferred: courses in supply chain/logistics, analytical reasoning, data reporting, demand forecasting and inventory optimization
