System Engineer – Billing & Front‑End Integration

About the role

VOIS, the strategic arm of Vodafone Group, is looking for a System Engineer to support the integration, implementation and delivery of services, products, tariffs and promotions within its Billing and Front‑End systems. The role blends system configuration, quality assurance and testing across the Vodafone Customer Care and Billing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define test cases, create test customers and execute batch test scenarios.
• Perform regression testing for Product Service Manager (PSM) and Customer Billing Manager (CBM) package deliveries.
• Analyse test results for services, products, tariffs, promotions and layout configurations.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and the team knowledge base.
• Ensure availability of applications and hosted servers on UNIX platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database‑related issues.
• Execute standard operational requests related to ALM and Totalview.
• Support delivery and validation of business rules and layout requirements within billing systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT operations or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of BSS and OSS systems.
• Understanding of billing systems and their operational context.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Clear communication, time‑management and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Motivation and initiative in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Relevant database or Unix/Linux certifications are a plus.
