Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our Tax Department, ensuring accurate and timely tax filings while maintaining full compliance with Egyptian tax regulations. The role combines strategic oversight, client advisory, and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations of the Tax Department.
• Review and approve all tax returns and related filings before submission.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws, VAT, payroll tax, and corporate income tax.
• Provide technical tax guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Liaise with the Egyptian Tax Authority as required.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on clients.
• Train, mentor, and develop tax team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of taxation experience, preferably in an accounting, audit, or tax consulting firm.
• 2–4 years in a managerial or team‑leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, VAT, payroll tax, and corporate income tax.
• Proven experience managing tax engagements and leading a team.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional certifications such as CTA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus.
• Very good command of English.
