Team Leader / Senior Structural Design Engineer

About the role

GDG Consultant Office is looking for a seasoned Structural Design Engineer to lead a team of professionals in delivering high‑quality structural solutions. The role combines technical excellence with leadership, ensuring that designs meet both client expectations and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve structural design calculations, drawings, and ETABS models.
• Ensure compliance with the Egyptian Code for Loads and Forces and other relevant standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated designs.
• Supervise the preparation of design deliverables and guarantee timely submission.
• Report directly to the Head of the Structural Department.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical support during design and construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design.
• Strong understanding of local building codes and international standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
