Technical Consultant – Cyber Risk (German Speaker)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Technical Consultant to join its Cyber Risk Advisory team in Cairo. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments and solutions for German‑speaking clients across various industries. The consultant will work closely with clients to develop and implement risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats.
• Provide expert recommendations to improve clients’ security posture.
• Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and strategies aligned with standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Perform gap analyses and advise on regulatory compliance.
• Assist in creating incident response and business continuity plans.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations in both German and English.
• Support clients in the deployment of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Deliver training workshops on cyber risk management best practices.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity risk consulting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management methodologies.
• Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST and other compliance requirements.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC (preferred).
