Technical Engineer/Designer – Architecture (KSA)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer/Designer to lead architectural design and detailing for large‑scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential and mixed‑use projects in Saudi Arabia. The role combines creative design development with technical coordination to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, floor plans, elevations, sections and 3D visualisations for diverse project types.
• Prepare detailed drawings, façade designs, interior layouts and finishing details in coordination with structural and MEP engineers.
• Conduct design reviews, value‑engineering studies and optimisation to meet aesthetic, functional and budgetary goals.
• Review and verify consultant, subcontractor and draughtsman drawings, shop drawings and submittals.
• Produce technical specifications, material, door and window schedules, and finishing schedules.
• Coordinate with design consultants, interior designers and project teams to resolve clashes and technical issues.
• Design façade systems, cladding, curtain walls and architectural features ensuring compliance with design intent.
• Support construction teams with on‑site design clarification and technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, accessibility, fire safety and project specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10‑15 years of experience as an Architectural Designer or Technical Architect on large‑scale projects.
• Proven track record in façade design, detailing and technical coordination.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM.
• Strong knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max and Lumion.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
