Technical Garment Pattern Maker

About the role

The Technical Garment Pattern Maker is responsible for translating customer measurement charts and technical specifications into accurate production patterns. This role ensures that patterns are graded, marked, and prepared for sample and full‑scale manufacturing, supporting the cutting, sampling, and costing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review measurement charts and technical details from customers to create initial garment patterns.
• Grade patterns across all required sizes and add seam allowances for production.
• Mark essential indicators on patterns and plot them using a plotter for sample creation.
• Implement revisions and communicate changes to relevant departments, including sample and costing teams.
• Prepare production and auxiliary patterns in the system for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Cutting, Sample, and Costing departments to ensure alignment.
• Lead studies on fabric relaxation values and work with Cutting to define and control these values.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of pattern‑making experience in export‑oriented companies.
• Strong understanding of international size charts (US, EU, UK, Asia) and measurement parameters.
• Ability to read and interpret English technical terms on measurement charts and technical sheets.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Gerber software.
