Technical Project Manager – Telecommunications

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications IT projects in Saudi Arabia. This onsite position requires close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, tasks, resources and budgets.
• Assemble and lead cross‑functional teams, providing clear direction and expectations.
• Communicate project status, risks and issues regularly to all parties.
• Allocate and manage resources efficiently, coordinating with resource managers.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Apply solid knowledge of IT systems, software development methodologies and emerging technologies.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors and third‑party service providers.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and cost, communicating impacts to stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, requirements and testing plans.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and relevant regulations.
• Enforce project governance tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing IT or telecommunications projects from initiation to closure.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with external vendors.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to stakeholders and clients.
• Understanding of IT security standards and compliance requirements.
