Technology Operations Senior Engineer

About the role

The Technology Operations Senior Engineer provides comprehensive technical support and ensures the reliability of IT infrastructure for end‑users. This role combines hands‑on hardware troubleshooting with server and network management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and update software applications on end‑user devices.
• Conduct hardware diagnostics and repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and related equipment.
• Manage servers and network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN performance monitoring.
• Administer and troubleshoot email systems, internet connections, and server hardware/software problems.
• Deliver second‑level support for all IT‑related incidents.
• Determine software and hardware requirements to maintain system availability and reliability.
• Install and configure operating systems, applications, and IP phones.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, diagnosing and resolving faults.
• Set up new user accounts, handle password issues, and support management on IT topics.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date register of IT assets, perform regular equipment checks, and manage procurement of IT requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT operations.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience installing computer hardware and software.
• Strong background in server management, security measures, and data protection.
