Telecom Engineer – Nokia 3G/LTE/5G Installation

About the role

We are looking for a Telecom Engineer to join our network project execution team in Egypt. The role focuses on the installation, integration and commissioning of Nokia 3G, LTE and 5G equipment across various project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Execute installation of Nokia base stations and related equipment for 3G, LTE and 5G networks.
• Perform integration and commissioning (I&C) activities according to project specifications.
• Install and connect RRUs, antennas, fiber optic and power cables, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Conduct commissioning tests, prepare daily reports and document all work performed.
• Troubleshoot technical faults on‑site and coordinate with operations teams for configuration.
• Adhere to Nokia procedures, client requirements and HSE regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Nokia equipment installation and integration (higher experience preferred).
• Familiarity with 3G, LTE and 5G network concepts.
• Ability to read technical layouts, schematics and site drawings.
• Willingness to travel between governorates and work on field sites.

Required skills

• Nokia AirScale Baseband, AirScale Radio and Flexi Multiradio equipment.
• Use of Nokia BTS Site Manager or similar integration tools.
• Installation and termination of fiber optic cables.
• Knowledge of DC power systems and grounding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical English.
