Telecommunications Engineer – Genesys Cloud Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer with deep expertise in Genesys Cloud to design, implement and support cloud‑based contact centre solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering reliable, high‑performance communication experiences for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support Genesys Cloud solutions.
• Manage and optimise cloud‑based contact centre environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure call flows, routing strategies, IVR systems, queues, and user management within Genesys Cloud.
• Troubleshoot and resolve telecom and contact centre‑related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement business solutions.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Support integrations between Genesys Cloud and third‑party applications.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in telecommunications, contact centre technologies, or cloud communication platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Genesys Cloud (Genesys Cloud CX).
• Strong understanding of telephony concepts, SIP, VoIP, IVR, ACD, and call routing.
• Experience with cloud technologies and contact centre operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
