Teller – Cash Management

About the role

Geidea is looking for a diligent Teller to manage cash operations at its Aswan branch. The role involves handling cash deposits, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team in daily cash flow activities.

Key responsibilities

• Charge Sales Representatives with virtual points for cash deposits.
• Count and verify deposited cash before hand‑over to the Cash‑in‑Transit (CIT) partner.
• Coordinate daily collection times with the CIT representative and ensure receipt of cash at the hub.
• Reconcile Sales Rep advances against daily cash deposits and bank balances.
• Send daily reconciliation reports and supporting bank receipt copies to the Reconciliation team.
• Report any cash shortages to the Teller supervisor and Finance team after verification.
• Perform proper handover duties during supervisor absences.
• Manage monthly petty‑cash custody for the branch and report to Finance.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of cash handling or teller experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong functional knowledge of banking operations and business processes.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
