Teller – Entry Level (Fresh Graduate)

About the role

This position is the first point of contact for customers at our Al Minufiyah branch. As a fresh graduate, you will provide efficient cash‑handling services, support daily banking transactions, and promote bank products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with withdrawals, deposits, currency exchange, and other routine banking needs.
• Process cash deposits, cheques, withdrawals, and expense redemptions using the core banking system.
• Verify cash and cheques for authenticity, report any irregularities, and ensure compliance with CBE regulations.
• Handle foreign‑currency transactions at dealer rates and maintain accurate vault records.
• Balance cash drawers, prepare daily currency positions, and support other tellers as needed.
• Adhere to internal policies, anti‑money‑laundering guidelines, and operational risk procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Fresh graduate with a solid understanding of basic banking operations.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy, and collaborate within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with core banking systems for transaction processing.
• Cash handling and verification techniques.
• Knowledge of foreign‑currency exchange procedures.
