About the role

The Teller is the front‑line representative of the bank, responsible for delivering accurate and timely cash and non‑cash transaction services to clients. This role ensures high‑quality service while adhering to bank procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cash and non‑cash transaction operations accurately and promptly.
• Welcome clients, receive instructions, validate requests, obtain necessary approvals, and forward them to relevant departments for execution.
• Handle customer queries and complaints, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Cross‑sell bank products and services to meet client needs.
• Follow up on client instructions in coordination with other departments to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
• Maintain safe keeping of all bank valuables and ensure compliance with branch and regulator policies, including CBE regulations.
