Tendering Estimation Engineer (Civil or Architectural)

About the role

Lead the preparation of technical and commercial cost estimates for construction projects, reviewing tender documents, drawings, specifications and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed material take‑offs and develop accurate labor, material and productivity estimates.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, tender submissions and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Conduct value engineering, cost optimisation studies and support negotiations during the tendering phase.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Planning and Commercial departments to ensure timely and accurate estimates.
• Develop pricing strategies, assess risks and opportunities, and perform bid/no‑bid and profitability analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of cost estimation and tendering experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a senior estimation role.
• Proven track record on industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience using ERP systems or similar platforms for cost management.
