Trainer - Learning & Development

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 950 stores and online platforms across the Middle East, is looking for a Trainer to join its Learning & Development team in Cairo. The role supports the continuous development of employees across Egypt, from onboarding and induction through coaching and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding and training programs covering sales, customer experience, communication, English, leadership and other business needs.
• Create, adapt and personalize training materials based on business and learner needs.
• Deliver training through classroom, virtual, 1:1 coaching and on-floor sessions.
• Visit stores across Egypt to train and coach employees on the floor.
• Support employees' development and career progression, including leadership training for potential promotions.
• Review and update training content, evaluate its effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Work with brands and internal teams to identify training needs and support L&D projects.
• Support employees on learning platforms such as Chalhoub University.

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in training, L&D or coaching; retail, hospitality or sales experience highly preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Comfortable delivering on-floor and 1:1 coaching, and willing to travel across Egypt.
• Training, coaching or L&D certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong training delivery, presentation and communication skills.
• Experience creating or adapting training materials.
• Good understanding of sales and customer experience.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills.
