Training and Development Specialist (SaaS Product Knowledge)

About the role

Daftra, a leading cloud‑based SaaS provider for the Arab region, is looking for a Training and Development Specialist to design and deliver product knowledge programs for its Sales and Technical Support teams. The role focuses on improving employee performance, supporting continuous learning, and ensuring customers receive expert service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate training schedules with HR and deliver Product Knowledge sessions on Daftra’s Accounting & ERP platform to new hires.
• Create, update, and maintain training materials (decks, documents, micro‑learning) aligned with new feature releases.
• Implement blended learning techniques, including presentations, simulations, role‑plays, and micro‑learning.
• Track trainee progress through quizzes, assessments, and daily attendance reports.
• Provide action plans for under‑performing trainees and support certification processes.
• Spend 2–4 hours per month in live Technical Support operations to stay current with floor conditions.
• Participate in calibration meetings, communicate product updates, and feed back system bugs or workflow improvements.
• Assist with broader career‑development initiatives such as soft‑skill and sales training.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a trainer/facilitator in a product‑knowledge, SaaS, or technical/customer‑support environment (BPO experience preferred).
• Proven ability to design and deliver hybrid (in‑person and virtual) learning programs.
• Strong business‑process knowledge with the ability to translate changes into training content.
• Instructional‑design skills to independently build training materials.
