Transport & Fixed Service Assurance Tech Lead

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Transport & Fixed Service Assurance Tech Lead to own the performance and quality of its transport network services. You will define key metrics, drive service improvements and ensure smooth hand‑over of new solutions from design to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement KPI tracking mechanisms to detect performance deviations and define corrective action plans.
• Investigate and resolve chronic service problems with unknown root causes to maintain service stability.
• Assess change requests for capacity, performance, configuration and OSS impact, minimizing negative effects on live services.
• Develop and manage service improvement plans for at‑risk KPIs, collaborating with Planning & Engineering for proactive optimisation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding service performance of both running and planned services.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in the telecom industry, specifically with transport network technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of network management systems and ITIL best practices.
• Strong project‑management skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Proven ability to lead service‑assurance initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
