Transportation Assistant Analyst – French Speaker

About the role

The Transportation Assistant Analyst supports daily transportation operations, acting as a bridge between planning teams, third‑party carriers and warehouses. The role ensures orders are executed efficiently, costs are controlled, and service performance meets expectations while maintaining seamless collaboration across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations with external transport providers and warehouses, receiving orders from planning and communicating them via the appropriate systems.
• Monitor order execution, provide shipment notifications, and resolve operational issues to guarantee service continuity.
• Prepare transportation forecasts, shipment schedules, and manage warehouse slot bookings and capacity requirements.
• Track inbound transportation KPIs such as on‑time delivery, carrier acceptance, and cost.
• Handle delivery issues, refusals, escalations, and coordinate returns or other exceptions.
• Maintain transportation cost records, process carrier claims, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French (C1 level, written and spoken).
• Experience in stakeholder management with internal and external transporters and warehouses within a logistics environment.
• Knowledge of stock planning, inventory management and MRP concepts, preferably SAP.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of gTMS.
• Experience with SAP (or similar MRP systems).
• Familiarity with Power Apps and Power BI or comparable reporting dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills.
