Travel Agency Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Operations Supervisor to lead our Cairo office, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional client service in a fast‑paced travel agency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day agency operations, driving efficiency and effectiveness across all processes.
• Lead, train and evaluate a team of travel agents, coordinators and support staff.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by handling client concerns, managing escalations and continuously improving service delivery.
• Analyze and streamline workflows, implement best practices to reduce costs and boost productivity.
• Monitor the quality of itineraries and services to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection and safety protocols.
• Prepare regular performance reports, client feedback summaries and operational metrics for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in travel operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on a shifting schedule.

Required skills

• Advanced experience with Amadeus for ticket issuance, re‑issuance, cancellation and refunds.
• Proficiency in CRM software.
• Experience using booking systems and platforms for flights, hotels, car rentals and tours.
• Familiarity with international travel regulations and industry standards.
