Treasury & Credit Control Manager

About the role

Lesaffre Egypt is seeking a Treasury & Credit Control Manager to lead cash, liquidity and credit functions across its yeast production business. The role reports to the CFO and is responsible for ensuring optimal cash management, risk mitigation and effective credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short‑, medium‑ and long‑term cash flow forecasts to identify funding gaps and investment opportunities.
• Optimize working capital by balancing daily liquidity needs with minimising idle cash.
• Oversee daily cash positioning, inter‑company funding and cash concentration strategies such as sweeping or pooling.
• Monitor currency and interest‑rate exposures and implement hedging instruments (FX forwards, swaps) to reduce volatility.
• Manage corporate debt portfolio, negotiate loan agreements, and ensure compliance with debt covenants.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, negotiate credit limits and service fees, and administer bank account structures and online platforms.
• Advise senior leadership on capital structure to achieve an optimal debt‑equity mix.
• Apply global credit policy, monitor credit limits, and continuously improve the credit management function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of treasury experience with proven leadership in cash management and liquidity.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, risk management and credit control.
