Trucking Operations Manager

About the role

The Trucking Operations Manager will lead the daily activities of our fleet at the Sokhna branch, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time, safely and in full compliance with local and international regulations. The role requires strong leadership, cross‑functional collaboration and a focus on continuous operational improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise fleet scheduling, routing and real‑time tracking to guarantee efficient deliveries.
• Recruit, train and manage the operations team, enforcing company policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety compliance through regular vehicle inspections and adherence to local and international safety regulations.
• Develop and monitor the operations budget, identify cost‑saving opportunities and control expenses.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
• Analyse processes, implement optimisation initiatives and leverage technology to reduce operational costs.
• Prepare regular performance reports on fleet, drivers and key operational metrics for senior management.
• Utilise Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other relevant software to enhance workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in trucking or transportation operations management.
• In‑depth knowledge of local and international transport regulations.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (preferred).
