Value Stream Team Leader

About the role

The Value Stream Team Leader is responsible for leading daily shift operations in a manufacturing environment. You will manage performance metrics, ensure safety and quality standards, and act as the primary point of contact for the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily FMOS, PPM, and Datalyzer routines, including shift handover, performance reviews, and process tours.
• Monitor and manage KPIs for safety, quality/food safety, cost, service, and ATLAS-related metrics.
• Escalate operational, Q&FS, and safety issues according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, P&O, and Commercial teams.
• Oversee operational contractors and ensure efficient utilization.
• Coach and develop shift associates, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary matters.
• Promote a LEAN culture, drive structured problem solving (5 Whys, root cause analysis), and lead continuous improvement projects.
• Execute ATLAS Manufacturing processes, manage inventory conversion, and handle system outages.
• Act as Emergency Manager and site custodian during the Plant Director’s absence.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading shift teams in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners.
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Capability to manage emergencies, permits, and site custodianship.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
