Value Stream Team Leader

About the role

The Value Stream Team Leader is responsible for leading daily shift operations in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures safety, quality, cost, and service targets are met while driving continuous improvement and overseeing ATLAS Manufacturing Execution processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily FMOS, PPM, and Datalyzer routines, including shift handover, performance reviews, and process tours.
• Serve as the first point of contact on shift, escalating operational, quality, food‑safety, and safety issues as required.
• Collaborate with Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, P&O, and Commercial teams to maintain product quality and reliability.
• Manage operational contractors, ensuring efficient utilization and timely service delivery.
• Coach and develop shift associates through training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Promote a LEAN culture, applying structured problem‑solving methods such as 5 Whys and root‑cause analysis.
• Own VLiC projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Execute ATLAS Manufacturing processes, manage inventory conversion, and handle system outages.
• Act as Emergency Manager and site custodian in the absence of senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading shift teams in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams and frontline associates.
• Demonstrated capability to coach, develop, and manage performance of team members.
• Experience handling emergency situations, permits, and site custodial responsibilities.
