VAS Engineer

About the role

The VAS Engineer is responsible for guaranteeing the availability, performance and continuous improvement of Value‑Added Services platforms. The role supports new service deployments, integrates enhancements and ensures system reliability across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and optimal performance of VAS platforms.
• Implement service configurations, integrations and upgrades aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on system enhancements and incident resolution.
• Participate in new service roll‑outs and conduct UAT validation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date system documentation and operational procedures.
• Support root‑cause analysis and post‑mortem reviews of incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience ensuring high availability of VAS or similar platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with service configuration, integration and upgrade processes.
• Ability to work with vendors and cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents.
• Experience participating in service roll‑outs and user acceptance testing.
• Strong documentation skills for system and operational procedures.
• Analytical mindset for root‑cause analysis and incident reviews.
