Waiter / Assistant (Food & Beverage)

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort on the Red Sea. As a Waiter/Assistant you will be stationed at the hotel bars and restaurants, delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly, following the service manual.
• Explain menu items, daily specials, soups, and drinks, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Greet each guest with a smile, eye contact and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible.
• Listen to guest requests, address concerns, and suggest alternatives to enhance sales.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and safeguard any personal belongings left by guests.
• Follow all departmental instructions, operational standards and the weekly work schedule set by the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Participate in orientation training, two performance assessments per year, and environmental initiatives such as waste reduction and energy saving.

Required profile

• Presentable and courteous with a strong customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Willingness to follow brand standards, health & safety rules, and environmental policies.
• Flexibility to work according to the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays.
