Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will lead all warehouse and inventory functions, ensuring efficient storage, handling and distribution of raw materials, fabricated products, consumables and spare parts while maintaining high inventory accuracy and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receiving, storage, issuance and dispatch operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Design and optimise warehouse layouts to maximise storage efficiency.
• Coordinate material availability to meet production requirements.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, space utilisation and material availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Lead and develop warehouse personnel.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support enhancements to ERP and inventory management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• At least 15 years of warehouse management experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of steel materials, inventory control and warehouse operations.
