Warehouse Supervisor – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily activities in Zara Egypt’s central warehouse and distribution facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will ensure smooth receipt, storage, inventory control and dispatch of merchandise while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage warehouse operations in the manager’s absence and allocate tasks to staff.
• Develop and implement security control procedures for warehouse activities.
• Apply inventory control processes to determine packaging and delivery requirements.
• Ensure stock is handled according to Standard Operating Procedures and that team members are trained on relevant IT systems.
• Supervise receipt, inspection, storage, cataloguing, inventorying and distribution of stock.
• Notify stakeholders of any stock discrepancies, including shortages, excesses or damaged items.
• Investigate and resolve stock shortages, specification deviations, and shipment damages, coordinating with vendors and freight companies.
• Oversee document transfer between stores and other departments to support process integrity.
• Enforce compliance with receiving, storage and dispatch policies.
• Implement health and safety procedures in line with local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
