WordPress Developer – Full-time (On-site)

About the role

We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer to join our team at the Qesm El Maadi office in Cairo. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on building and maintaining high‑quality WordPress‑based websites that showcase authentic Egyptian products to a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and customise WordPress sites, themes and plugins.
• Implement both back‑end and front‑end functionality using clean, efficient code.
• Ensure responsive, cross‑device designs that deliver optimal user experiences.
• Optimise website performance, SEO and analytics integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, technical issues and functional gaps.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and other stakeholders to align development with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in back‑end web development and server‑side scripting for WordPress.
• Strong front‑end skills with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, theme and plugin customisation.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, website analytics and performance optimisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous work on e‑commerce platforms is a plus.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is advantageous.
