WordPress Specialist (Arabic)

About the role

GTECH Information Technology is looking for a hands‑on WordPress Specialist who can take full ownership of website projects from design to deployment. The role focuses on building pixel‑perfect, responsive WordPress sites for Arabic and bilingual (Arabic/English) audiences, ensuring right‑to‑left layouts and proper typography.

Key responsibilities

• Convert design files (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into responsive, pixel‑accurate WordPress themes.
• Develop and customize child themes, plugins, custom post types, taxonomies, and fields using ACF.
• Implement RTL layouts, Arabic fonts, and multilingual setups (WPML, Polylang).
• Work with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg) and decide when custom code is required.
• Build and maintain WooCommerce stores as needed.
• Optimize sites for speed, Core Web Vitals, cross‑browser compatibility, and security.
• Handle migrations, staging‑to‑live deployments, backups, and basic hosting/DNS tasks.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate with designers, project managers, and the SEO team.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on WordPress development experience, preferably in an agency or multi‑site environment.
• Native Arabic speaker with strong written and reading skills; fluent English for team communication.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality, bilingual websites on time.
