Workday Techno-Functional Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Techno‑Functional IT Lead to drive the implementation and ongoing evolution of Workday HCM across a multi‑country environment. The role will own end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring that business requirements are tightly aligned with system capabilities while supporting the organization’s HR digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full Workday implementation lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and hyper‑care support.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, IT and external implementation partners to deliver scalable Workday solutions.
• Configure and optimise Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Absence, Compensation, Benefits and Integrations.
• Oversee data migration, reporting, testing activities and user‑adoption initiatives.
• Drive governance, risk management, documentation and compliance throughout the project.
• Provide strategic guidance on process standardisation, automation and continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands‑on Workday experience, including at least one full‑cycle implementation.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams, stakeholders and third‑party vendors.
• Workday HCM and/or Integrations certifications are highly preferred.
