Workshop Engineer – Diesel Buses

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Workshop Engineer to lead the maintenance of diesel‑powered buses. The role involves supervising daily workshop activities, ensuring vehicle reliability and safety, and supporting the technical team in delivering high‑performance service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance and repair operations for diesel buses.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure correct repair procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with technicians to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Monitor and manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimise breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the workshop.
• Prepare maintenance reports and track spare‑parts requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for workshop processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with diesel vehicles, preferably buses.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and bus maintenance practices.
• Proven ability to supervise technicians and manage workshop activities.
• Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
