Accountant (French Language)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant who is fluent in French to join our finance team in Maadi, Cairo. The role involves managing vendor transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with service vendors to settle financial transactions.
• Post financial transactions for service and product vendors, including payments, invoices, credit memos, and refunds.
• Allocate unit costs for freight expenses.
• Create vendor payments using the bank application.
• Review and approve outgoing national and international payments.
• Ensure all expense components of the income statement are complete before month‑end closure.
• Clear general‑ledger accounts related to payables and receivables.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Adapt tasks as needed based on team requirements.

Required profile

• B2 level French proficiency or higher (mandatory).
• Previous experience in finance or accounting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
