Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive process improvements. The role reports to senior leadership and oversees a team of accounting professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes and meet all reporting deadlines.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, review and approve journal entries.
• Contribute to annual budgeting, financial forecasts and monitor budget performance.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies and support audit activities.
• Supervise, mentor and develop the accounting team, conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, cash‑flow management and treasury operations.
• Administer accounting systems, identify and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and other accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.
