Application Developer – SAP ABAP HANA

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a fresh graduate to join our team as an Application Developer focused on SAP ABAP and HANA technologies. You will work on designing, developing, and supporting application solutions that leverage the power of SAP HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and support of SAP HANA‑based ABAP applications.
• Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs with performance optimisation for HANA environments.
• Use ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse to build and test components.
• Create Core Data Services (CDS) views, database procedures, and native SQL logic.
• Participate in data modelling using HANA Studio under senior guidance.
• Develop and consume HANA Live models, ALV on HANA, and other HANA‑optimised objects.
• Follow SAP code performance rules and collaborate with functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate with a strong analytical mindset.
• Very good command of English and strong communication skills.
• Team‑player, dynamic, and motivated to learn SAP consulting.
