Application Security Analyst – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

As an Application Security Analyst focused on AI training, you will work with realistic security scenarios to teach frontier AI models how to assess and prioritize application risk. This remote, hourly contract position lets you apply your security expertise to shape the next generation of AI security intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze real‑world application security scenarios covering code, APIs, and system behavior.
• Classify vulnerabilities such as authentication flaws, injection risks, and business‑logic weaknesses.
• Evaluate secure coding practices and assess the quality of proposed remediation strategies.
• Create and validate security‑focused reasoning datasets that teach AI to accurately assess application risk.
• Distinguish genuine exploitability from theoretical risk and document your reasoning clearly.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in application, product, or software security roles.
• Solid familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities.
• Ability to think like an attacker and identify truly exploitable issues.
• Strong written communication skills for clear security reasoning.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently on task‑based assignments.
