Associate Manager, Distribution & Warehousing

About the role

The Associate Manager, Distribution & Warehousing will lead Nestlé Egypt’s distribution network, driving operational excellence, cost‑saving initiatives and the company’s logistics digitalisation agenda. The role combines hands‑on management of delivery performance with strategic projects that reduce stock damages and improve customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee distribution operations to ensure timely, accurate and cost‑effective delivery.
• Monitor KPIs such as delivery accuracy, stock damage rates and customer refusals, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead cross‑functional projects with production, warehousing, sales and customer service teams to reduce damages and refusals.
• Identify and develop cost‑reduction initiatives, build business cases and track ROI.
• Benchmark performance against industry standards and competitors.
• Drive the logistics digitalisation journey by implementing WMS, TMS, ERP and data‑analytics platforms.
• Champion automation, predictive analytics and other advanced tools to enhance decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in logistics or distribution, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional projects.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
