Azure Technical Support Engineer – Associate

About the role

PwC is looking for an enthusiastic Azure Technical Support Engineer to join its Cairo team. In this associate‑level position you will help clients resolve issues across Microsoft Azure services, ensuring smooth operation of their cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Azure services, troubleshooting infrastructure, application and service issues.
• Assist customers in understanding Azure features and guide them toward best practices.
• Monitor and respond to support tickets promptly, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
• Document solutions and create knowledge‑base articles for internal and external use.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to deliver after‑hours support when needed.
• Stay current with Azure updates, new features and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in technical support or a similar role, preferably focused on cloud technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator are a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure services (Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL Database).
• Azure troubleshooting tools and diagnostics.
• Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure and virtualization concepts.
