About the role

We are looking for a Category Trade Marketing Lead to drive execution excellence of trade marketing initiatives across all channels. The role will combine strategic insight with hands‑on implementation to boost sales performance and optimise ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution excellence of Trade Marketing initiatives across all channels, driving sales performance through high‑impact, insight‑led activations.
• Own and continuously optimise the ROI of all trade activities, ensuring efficient investment and measurable business impact.
• Oversee trade logistics and execution quality, using field tracking and health‑check reports to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and implement tailored promotional plans for key channels and strategic customers, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
• Strengthen integration between Marketing and Sales by designing and refining processes for seamless execution of commercial plans.
• Manage deployment and optimisation of POSM and merchandising tools across channels to enhance in‑store visibility and shopper engagement.
• Ensure flawless execution of Modern Trade (MT) and Key Accounts (KA) activities, maintaining product availability and compliance to merchandising standards.
• Lead market intelligence efforts by consolidating insights from distribution channels to monitor competition and support data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG with strong exposure to Trade Marketing or Category Management.
• Solid field sales experience combined with a strategic marketing mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross‑functional teams.
• High commercial acumen with a customer‑ and shopper‑centric approach.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
• Proven project‑management capabilities with a track record of delivering complex initiatives end‑to‑end.
