Corporate Counsel

About the role

The Associate Counsel will join MAF Global Solutions to provide comprehensive legal support across the business. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the role works closely with stakeholders in Egypt and the UAE, delivering business‑focused legal advice and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to all departments, offering legal advice and shaping internal governance policies.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks, providing proactive, solution‑oriented counsel.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, memoranda and corporate documents while minimizing exposure.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations and company policies, and advise on corrective actions.
• Handle complex, multi‑stakeholder matters, delivering timely advice aligned with MAF objectives.
• Support the development and implementation of internal policies in line with local legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; LLM preferred.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and related procedures.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• High integrity, flexibility and a collaborative mindset.
