Customer Engineer (ATM Technical Support)

About the role

The Customer Engineer provides on‑site technical support for ATMs and self‑checkout systems, ensuring equipment reliability and high customer satisfaction. This field‑based position involves installation, maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of electromechanical devices across an assigned territory in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, preventive maintenance, and service calls promptly.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ATMs and self‑checkout equipment.
• Execute corrective repairs and full system overhauls as required.
• Dismantle legacy machines, test individual components, and manage parts reuse.
• Prioritize tasks to meet service level agreements and efficiently manage the assigned territory.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and structured troubleshooting methods.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities in a field‑service environment.
• Excellent communication skills for professional interaction with customers.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within the assigned territory.
