Cyber Risk Associate – Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Cyber Risk Associate to join its Advisory team in Cairo. You will work across multiple client engagements, applying a broad set of cybersecurity principles to protect systems and data. The role offers exposure to leading‑edge security frameworks and the opportunity to develop comprehensive risk‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage cyber security risks related to IT compliance, audits, and information security.
• Implement and maintain governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with standards such as ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Conduct risk assessments and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance on cyber security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on risk management activities and compliance status.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and threats in cybersecurity.

Required profile

• Fluent in English with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid knowledge of IT compliance, IT audit processes, and information security principles.
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
